Your access to and use of the hidden website, communication channels, or any services provided by hidden (“hidden,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of our website and services.
These Terms apply globally, including users located in the United States, European Union, United Kingdom, Canada, and other jurisdictions in which hidden operates or makes its services available.
1. What hidden Is
hidden is a software development and website support agency.
We fix, update, upgrade, optimize, and improve your website or web application.
We are not:
- A DIY platform
- A consulting or advisory-only service
- A legal, financial, or strategic advisor
We perform hands-on technical work based on your requests and the scope we mutually agree upon.
2. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- Have authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or your company.
- Provide accurate information when required.
3. Description of Services
hidden provides on-demand tasks such as (but not limited to):
- Bug fixes
- Website updates
- Website upgrades
- Speed optimization
- Code refactoring
- Software installations or configurations
- Plugin/module/theme troubleshooting
- Feature development as agreed upon
The exact deliverable and completion time will be mutually defined before work begins.
4. Service Process
- You submit a request describing the work needed.
- hidden reviews the request and provides:
- A clear scope of work
- An estimated timeline (e.g., “2 hours”)
- A quoted price
- Upon your approval, we begin the work.
- When the work is complete, we notify you and provide a summary of what was done.
5. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide necessary access credentials (hosting, CMS, FTP, code repository, etc.).
- Ensure your access credentials are valid, legal, and authorized.
- Back up your system if you believe backups are necessary prior to work.
- Describe your issue accurately and completely.
- Not use our services for unlawful or harmful purposes.
6. Refund Policy
We stand behind our work and our timelines.
If the job is not completed within the agreed-upon time window (e.g., “within 2 hours”), hidden will offer you a full refund.
Refunds are not automatic.
You may choose between:
(a) receiving a full refund, or
(b) allowing us additional time to complete the job.
hidden may also provide a refund at its discretion in other circumstances.
Work that has already been completed or delivered is generally not refundable unless legally required.
7. 30-Day Error Guarantee
If an error we fixed reoccurs within 30 days of completion, we will fix it again at no additional charge.
This guarantee applies only to:
- The same error or issue that was originally fixed
- Systems and code that have not been modified by you or third parties since our work was completed
- Issues not caused by changes to third-party services, hosting, or plugins

8. No Guarantee of Results
While hidden strives to deliver high-quality technical outcomes:
- We do not guarantee that a requested fix will solve all related issues.
- We do not guarantee that your website will operate without errors, downtime, conflicts, or compatibility problems, especially where third-party plugins, hosts, or prior codebases are involved.
- We do not guarantee specific performance outcomes (traffic, SEO improvements, rankings, revenue, etc.).
You acknowledge that the nature of software and the web involves inherent unpredictability.
9. International Use
hidden provides services globally.
You agree that:
- You are responsible for complying with your local laws and regulations.
- hidden does not guarantee local-language compliance for legal or regulatory technical requirements outside the U.S. unless explicitly agreed upon (e.g., German DSGVO cookie changes, French CNIL requirements, etc.).
- We may refuse or modify work that conflicts with laws of your jurisdiction.
10. User Content and Access Credentials
Any content, files, credentials, or materials you provide remain your property.
You grant hidden a limited license to use these materials solely for the purpose of performing the requested work.
You agree you will not provide illegal, unauthorized, or third-party-owned content or credentials.
11. Third-Party Tools, Services, and Integrations
We may work with or integrate:
- Hosting providers
- CMS platforms
- Plugins / modules / themes
- APIs
- Third-party code libraries
hidden is not responsible for:
- Failures originating from third-party services
- Third-party outages
- Plugin/theme conflicts
- Problems caused by previously existing bugs
- Issues arising after updates by you or third parties
12. Intellectual Property
hidden retains ownership of:
- Any proprietary tools, scripts, or code snippets created independently
- Internal methods, workflows, or development frameworks
Custom code written specifically for your project is a work product and becomes yours upon full payment unless stated otherwise.
13. Disclaimers (Important)
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
hidden DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- CONTINUOUS OR ERROR-FREE AVAILABILITY
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
- Data loss or corruption
- Downtime caused by hosting providers or third parties
- Security breaches occurring on your systems
- Conflicts arising from prior code, third-party extensions, or system misconfiguration
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of revenue, traffic, sales, or goodwill
- Website failures occurring after we complete the job
This is true to the maximum extent permitted by law, including in the EU.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
hidden’s total liability for all claims, damages, or losses of any kind is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service at issue.
Some jurisdictions (e.g., parts of EU) do not allow certain limitations. In such places, our liability is limited to the minimum amount legally permitted.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold hidden harmless from any claims or losses arising from:
- Your misuse of our services
- Your content or code
- Your breach of these Terms
- Unauthorized use of third-party materials
16. Termination
hidden may suspend or terminate your access to services if:
- You violate these Terms
- You misuse or attempt to compromise our systems
- You provide fraudulent or unauthorized credentials
- You fail to pay for services
Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless legally required.
17. Changes to These Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time.
- The “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent version.
- Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
18. Governing Law
If you are located in:
- United States: governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming.
- EU/EEA/UK: governed by the laws of your country of residence and applicable EU consumer protection laws.
- Rest of world: governed by the laws of your residence unless prohibited.
Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts or arbitration forums applicable to your jurisdiction.
